Zbigniew "Levandek" Lewandowski (born in 1951 in Chojnice) - jazz musician, percussionist, composer, arranger, band leader. He is present on the Polish music scene for over 35 years . He has collaborated with many musicians from the forefront of Polish and international jazz. Especially known as a drums teacher - he regularly runs workshops (including the Beaver Blues, Blues Express), has also recorded for TVP series of programs about drumms. He is currently a lecturer at the Wroclaw School of Jazz and Contemporary Music. He is the winner of numerous awards team Grand Prix for best traditional orchestra at the Jazz Festival on the Odra in 1972 with "Sami Swoi" band Grand Prix for the best big band at the festival "Golden Washboard" in Warsaw in 1973 with the Big Band Wroclaw, Grand Prix Super Star at the jazz festival in Moenchengladbach, named the best drummer international jazz festival in San Sebastian in 1978. In the 90' - he creates his iconic trio "Three Generations" and together with Wojciech Karolak and Piotr Baron "The High Bred Jazz Trio". In 2007 he was awarded a bronze medal "Gloria Artis".
