Jolanta Pawlik is a graduate of the F.Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the piano class of Barbara Hesse-Bukowska and the chamber music class of Krystyna Makowska-Ławrynowicz. Her other mentors include: Barbara Michałowska, Anna Radziwonowicz, Włodzimierz Obidowicz. For 4 years in a row she received the F.Chopin Scholarship for the young, talented, Warsaw-based pianist, being a student of J.Elsner Secondary School of Music. She took part in master classes by Tatiana Nikolayeva and J.E.Gardiner at Bachakademie-Stuttgart in 1991. She worked for the studios of Halina Słonicka in the ‘90s and Jadwiga Rappé from 2000-2011 and took part in numerous concert projects with their students, including „Noc z Szekspirem” (“Night with Shakespeare”), „Moniuszko – salon warszawski” (“Moniuszko – Warsaw salon”), presented during the „Muzyczne Konfrontacje” “Musical confrontations”) festival. She has also collaborated with B.Betley, U.Trawińska-Moroz, J.Artysz, I.Kłosińska, R.Cieśla, A.Stefanowicz and since 2011 has been working for the voice studio of W.Zalewski. She has taken part in the master classes by Ryszard Karczykowski (in Radziejowice), Jadwiga Rappé and the International Music Courses in Łańcut. She has played plenty of concerts with her son Łukasz, a cellist, and received a distinction for her accompaniament at the Kazimierz Wiłkomirski Cello Competition in Poznań in 2000. She has appeared many times in concerts with the scholars of the Polish Children’s Fund at the King’s Castle in Warsaw. In 2008, along with Kira Boreczko, she took part in the inauguration of the H.Słonicka 1st Polish Vocal Festival in Wigry. She has collaborated with the Krajowe Biuro Koncertowe (Polish Concert Office). She has recorded for the Polish Radio and Television. She has performed in France, Germany and Hungary.
