Janusz Nykiel comes from Jelenia Góra. He have begun  his musical education and adventure with the violin at the age of 5 in his Janusz Nykielhometown. He graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Poznan. In 1989 he won the prestigious competition and was employed in the famous Mozarteum Orchester in Salzburg. From 1990 to 2008, he worked in the Tiroler Symphonieorchester National Theatre in Innsbruck. In 2003 he took over in Innsbruck as first concertmaster of the Tiroler Kammerorchester Innstrumenti in Innsbruck. The position which he holds till this day. The idea of the orchestra "Innstrumenti" is the promotion of contemporary music and the presentation of outstanding young musicians, whom Janusz supports with his experience. For lifetime Achievement Orchestra has been awarded with several prestigious awards, among others: the prize of Radio Austria Pasticcio Preis and Arthur - Haidl - Preis.

 Since 2009 he has divided his life between Austria, Germany and Poland. He actively cooperates with radio orchestra Bayerische Rundfunk in Munich, and as concertmaster with the Wroclaw chamber string orchestra Inter Camerata. Sentiment for his hometown, have linked him with the Lower Silesian Philharmonic in Jelenia Góra, which has worked for several years as first violinist.

 His specific professional challenges of recent years are: individual artistic activities under the name "Farma Artystyczna", in which cultivates his beloved chamber music and invites to cooperation many of greats of Polish and European musicians, as well as the creation of the Festival Orchestra-Opus International Orchestra.
