Jacek Wojcicki is an actor and singer with a strong tenor voice timbre. He’s a member of the Krakow's Piwnica pod Baranami. He also played the role of Mr. Jacek in Olga Lipinska Cabaret. For children he will forever remain all adored the Mr. Tenor. He was born January 21, 1960 in Krakow. He graduated from the Acting Department at the State Higher School of Theatre in Krakow. Since 1982, for nine years he has performed on the stage of Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow. In the meantime - he has also appeared in television series, films and cabarets. He is a member of an informal group called Piwnica pod Baranami. In 1986 he was awarded on the Review of Stage Songs in Wroclaw, and a year later - has won awards at the Festival in Opole. In the years 1992 - 1997 could have been seen in the new series of Olga Lipińska Cabaret, in the role of Mr. Jacek. He has also sang songs to texts by Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński. "On the stage John becomes a fascinating demon of cheerful and sad song. Go look him perform! Admire! Invite to your home!" with these words he used to be announced by the legendary founder of Piwnica pod Baranami and the cabaret's longtime director, Potr Skrzynecki. Nothing has changed since that time. Jacek is just as demonic and enamored in contrasts: in all things comical, and lyrical. Today, just as when he made his debut in the Piwnica, he is worth it to listen to and admire.
