Artur Andrus – day-to-day editor of „Repetition of Entertainment” on Trójka radio, weekly host of Warsaw’s “Piwnica pod Harendą” meetings. From time to time announcer during various cabaret events, and besides a poet, cabaret songwriter, comedian, satirist in TV program “Contact Lens”…
Artur Andrus is an artist of multiple media. Not only can he be listened to on the radio and records, seen on the stage or television, he also writes. His poems were published during 1998-99 in satiric column of “Życie Warszawy”. He often wrote (and still does) lyrics for other cabaret artists. His poems were often published on the last page of “Przekrój”, and currently following the current zeitgeist Artur Andrus writes his own blog!
In November 2011 President of Republic of Poland decorated Artur Andrus with Gold Cross for Merit.
On the 5th of March a new record by Artur Andrus “Myśliwiecka” was published by Mystic Production. It includes hits like: “Ballada o Baronie, Niedzwiedziu i Czarnej Helenie”, “Cieszyńska” , “Piłem w Spale, spałem w Pile” and many others.
April 15th 2013 is the premiere of the first Artur Andrus’s DVD! “Piłem w Spale… I co dalej” is a recording of a concert that took place on the 22nd of April 2012 in Syrena Theater in Warsaw. It was not only a concert but also the social event. Andrus invited his friends: Maria Czubaszek, Hanna Śleszyńska, Andrzej Poniedzielski, MoCarta Group, Collegium Musicum Choire of University of Warsaw and musisians he cooperates with continually – Łukasz Borowiecki, Wojciech Stec and Paweł Żemija.On the 18th of March 2015 apered the new record of Artur Andrus titled “Cyniczne córy Zurychu”
