An artist, born in Sighartstein near Salzburg, studied architecture in Vienna at the Hochschule für angewandte Kunst under Fredrich Janeba and at the Academy of Fine Arts under Roland Rainer. His work includes painting, drawing and sculpture. His extended visits across Rome, Morocco, Cuba, the South Pacific, India, the USA, Indonesia, Ethopia, Mongolia, Nepal and South Africa were devoted to the study of scenic landscapes.
