Alexandra Reinprecht


This Viennese-born singer had her first singing lessons under the tutorship of Maxara Bernhard, Elfriede Mohrenberger and Flavia Labo. She graduated with honors from the “G. Tartini” Conservatory under the supervision of soprano Cecilia Fusco. Since 2001 she has worked under the guidance of Carol Byers. During her studies she honed her talents at the Teatro Verdi di Trieste, and after her first performance in St. Gallen she quickly took to work in Graz, Stuttgart and at the Staatsoper and Volksoper in Vienna. She has also performed at the Prinzregententheater in Munich and the Komische Oper in Berlin.

Her successful guest appearance stretch across the major opera house of Europe, such as the Opera Unter den Linden in Berlin, the Staatsoper in both Munich and Stuttgart as well as the Theatre in Salzburg. She has also participated in prestigious festivals held in such locations as Salzburg, Bregenz, St. Moritz and Reinberg. Together with the Stuttgart State Opera Ensemble and the Staatsoper of Vienna Opera she performed across Japan and China.

During her career she was worked with major figures such as Zubin Mehta, Giuseppe Taddei, Ivon Bolton, Bertrand de Billy, Marcello Giordani, Michele Crider, Philippe Jorda, Peter Konwitschny, Doris Dorrie, Josef Kopplinger, Ferruccio Frlanetto, Marco Armiliato, Franz Welser-Most, Schioff Neil, Angela Gheorghiu.
