Prominent Polish film and theater actress and director, known mainly for his roles in the theater, recently appealed to the audience in the movie "Rewers". Anna Polony was born on January 21, 1939 in Krakow. In 1960, she graduated from the Acting Department of The Ludwik Solski Academy of Dramatic Arts in Kraków. She made her debut in 1959 on the stage of the Stary Theatre in the paly "There Will Not Be the Trojan War" (dir. George Kaliszewski), where he then worked from 1964 to 2002. Almost from the beginning of her career she was associated with the Stary Theatre (only the seasons 1960/61 - 1963/64 - Theatre. J. Slowacki). Her cooperation with Andrzej Wajda - the suggestive role of Aniela Dulska in the play "As the years pass, as the days pass..." opened a new stage in the creative live of the artist - roles characteristic, marked with form, comedic. Anna Polony teaches at Academy of Dramatic Arts in Kraków. In the years 1987-1991 she was Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Acting at The Academy of Dramatic Arts in Krakow, in 1999-2002, vice-rector of the university.
