Anna Malicka-Zamorska

Anna Malicka-Zamorska was born March 8 1942, graduate of Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw (Prof. J. Kotarbińska, Studio of ceramics, Anna Malicka-Zamorska diploma in 1965). She belongs to one of the most renown and popular ceramic artists in the world. She was invited to several international arts symposia, competitions and exhibitions. She has spent over a year on a scholarship at universities in Australia (GIAE, Churchill, Victoria), US (Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa) and Iceland (Academy of the Arts, Reykjavik). Her works can be found in museums in Europe, Americas, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. They were reprinted times in several books (Polly Rothenburg, Michael Flynn, Peter Lane, Charlotte Speight, Paweł Banaś, Serge Gauthier, Juzas Adomonis, Margaret Margetts, Janet Mansfield, Steve Mattison, Maria Jeżewska, Janos Probstner) and professional press titles all over the world.

From 1974 she is a member of International Academy of Ceramics IAC in Geneva/Switzerland.

For 10 years now she leads the International Ceramics Symposium "Porcelain Another Way".

She lives and works in Wrocław.
